BIGJOY FOLLOWS UP CATHARTIC DEBUT SINGLE "BANDWIDTH" WITH INTIMATE MUSIC VIDEO

17 JUNE 2022 - BIGJOY Releases Intimate Music Video to Follow Up His Debut Single "Bandwidth".
BIGJOY crashed into the LA music scene last month with his cathartic, guitar-driven synth bop "Bandwidth". His debut single is an alt / indie pop journey that lives in the aesthetic world of Mura Masa, Porches, and Dominic Fike. It was released on BIGJOY's 30th birthday and represents a cathartic moment of embracing a new chapter while desperately trying to reconnect with his inner child and prioritizing self-love, joy, and emotional bandwidth.
Capitalizing on his well-received first release, BIGJOY produced an intimate music video of himself manically cutting and dying his hair, embodying the messy process of shedding his old skin (which after bleaching his head twice in one day was less of a metaphor).
Further context surrounding "Bandwidth" here!
Although BIGJOY is fresh to the LA music scene, he's no stranger to the community. BIGJOY is the debut artist project of producer / songwriter Kyle Berzle who was behind much of Broods' most recent album "Space Island", James Supercave's titular track M.O.W.O., amongst other indie pop favorites. Beyond his work in the studio, he's also spent years as a front-of-house engineer at mainstay LA venues like The Troubadour, The Echoplex, Regent Theater, and toured the world with artists like Broods, Gallant, Marian Hill, Cults, Cold War Kids, etc. Now focusing his energy into his artist project BIGJOY, Berzle aims to make a big splash in the LA music scene moving through 2022. Using his road-worn skills from working with other artists and operating on a fully independent budget, BIGJOY's coming debut album is fully self-produced, mixed, and mastered, and the Bandwidth music video was fully self produced. If one thing's for sure, Berzle has big plans for BIGJOY.
